The purpose and functions of the Republican Town Committee of New London, CT :

To sponsor and support Republican party candidates and activities.

To organize election campaigns and work to elect Republicans to office.

To encourage able Republicans to run for office.

To study and recommend improvements in the form of local government.

To recommend able and qualified Republicans for appointive offices.

To study and support (or oppose) State Legislation concerning New London.

To study, discuss, and take positions on political issues.

To administer New London Republican party funds.
